Robert, Thank you so much for sharing this brilliant article. Cecilia González-Andrieu has introduced me to women who are inspiring Catholic theologians and also to several next generation leaders. I’m excited to learn more and I’m hopeful.

An immense number have left, and each year some more leave, a few even come back, the Bishop of Rome is a sign of hope for many but in the end women stay because they love Jesus, and they still believe the Church follows Him. But there is a clear disengagement in active work.
