“One @SFPD station reported that year-to-date robberies with weapons were up 100% over last year. All since @chesaboudin arrived, San Franciscans were 3,400% more likely to be robbed than to perish from the coronavirus.” https://www.westsideobserver.com/news/BarberiniApr26.html …

#SanFrancisco issues? Thanks for your input anyway. Its not relevant to this discussion .5 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

I think the one view everyone should share is that SF is going to hell in a handbasket under the current regime.

"regime" -- Maybe you missed the total city shutdown? ALL of America is going through this. Your pal Trump trashed an economy was handed to him on a silver platter. It REALLY DOES MATTER who is in the White House.

@sfgov w/budget of $12.3 BN before the pandemic, was unable and unwilling to keep its streets free of human waste and city provided needles, nor its sidewalks navigable. And we’re a tourist destination. SF is run the way SF’ers think DC is; corrupt, wasteful and incompetently.1 reply 2 retweets 7 likes
Keeping SF clean is a matter of political will. We CUT social services and expect the poor who visit to just move on. I cannot tell you how often I have heard the story that offering services to the poor is the problem. I heard this from a police sargeant walking the Marina beat.

I don’t follow. Who are the “poor who visit”? That keeping SF clean is a matter of political will is testament to the total ineptitude and dysfunction of
@sfgov . Yet the elections are so predictable.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes - Show replies
