    Being able to pick up and grab a window like it's a physical object, wherever you see it, and fling it around the screen, is great. iOS still doesn't get that right in enough places. Windows 8 had some great ideas, just not a great platform to build apps with / for

    Windows 8.1 shows which window is focused, and lets you pick from homescreen to fill either side. If both sides are taken, then it waits for you to tell it which side you want. And if your screen is wide enough, you can even do three-up multitasking, and it all just works
