    When I was on leave from the Navy in California in the summer of 1981 I was sexually harassed by an older woman in San Francisco. I'm almost certain it was Dianne Feinstein and I'm willing to testify to this. Sorry I never brought it up before.

    Is there grounds for investigating Feinstein for all this?

    According to Judiciary Republicans, Feinstein did not attend the closed part of Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing, in which sensitive material is discussed. And the accusations in that letter did not surface during the closed session.

    As someone who’s reached out to every Judiciary Dem, can confirm. They’re deferring to Dianne Feinstein’s office.

    As far as I can tell, not a single Judiciary Committee Democrat (or Senate Dem for that matter) has put out a statement on this Kavanaugh story. But both Hatch and Grassley’s office have.

    CORRECTION: I have been told subsequently that the letter was prepared yesterday. It still seems quite strange to me, and I remain suspicious about GOP's prior knowledge of new allegations. But letter appears separate effort.
