Isn't it wonderful? First appeared in Wildwood, now fruiting here again in @emergence_zine's Tree issue.

Wildwood is such a special book. The brilliant illustrations in this new @emergence_zine version of the apple-chapter are by Naï Zakharia. She's caught the atmosphere so well, I think.

To be remembered through a worldwide wildwood of trees... What beautiful, fitting, tribute.

Finished reading Wildwood a few weeks ago. 'The Wild Places' was my first introduction to the man, and his writings from Kazakhstan were a highlight. Left me craving fresh walnuts and honey. He must have been one hell of a friend to have.
