Why would they burn MJ memorabilia and make a documentary attempting to destroy his reputation if they still loved him? Both talk of MJ trying to anally penetrate them and it hurting. Robson even says he bled, but still doesn't look upset about it.

You make perfect sense and i agree. It's just this weird 'love' narrative they've weaved into the story that made me wonder if admiration for MJ could somehow mask signs of trauma. It's interesting, if you mute the sound and just watch them speak, they don't even look sad to me.

Besides, another documentary states Reed was inspired by a book (that quotes a pedophile entity) in framing sexual abuse of children as "love". Thank you for your sophisticated film analysis, Rob Ager! I've especially enjoyed your videos on "Shining". :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qb5UVMwTC5g …

Last note: Perpetrators are usually psychopaths, they score high on Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD) or Narcissism (NPD). Michael, who was himself a victim of abuse - psychological and physical abuse by his father - didn't suffer from a Cluster B disorder, he was an empath.
