Novel is not the movie. Only indication she’s a Replicant is a Replicant’s say-so. Red eyes are red herrings. Leon and Zhora didn’t suffer that affliction and they are on record as Replicants.

You're ignoring the script there. Obviously the red eye only in certain light, but never applied to humans. Scott has been open that Deckard a replicants, but given zero indication Rachel human. No evidence for it at all. Sorry.

You're right. In fact, they should've shown the spinning-top fall over at the end of Inception. Or what was inside the briefcase in Pulp Fiction. Or whether/not MacReady and/or Childs were human at the end of The Thing. That's what life's about: Easy non-thought provoking answers
