Hi . On our Click & Drop I've just noticed the labels I've done today say 150g rather than 1500g. They are all small parcel (1st class), charged correctly but missed a 0. Do I have to request a refund and do them all again (a nightmare) or is ok to despatch?

Got home to my parcel of ground coffee from Very excited I made a cup straight away choosing the Buwobodeya bag. Very smooth! Lovely! A big reason for buying from them is it's responsibly sourced and comes in home compostable bags. Great quality too!

'Waste charity Wrap states that just six per cent of soft plastic packaging (such as bags and films) is recycled in the UK – and recycling rates are currently falling.' Guy Singh-Watson in response to criticism of home compostable packaging.

We’re not claiming that compostable packaging is perfect, just that it’s not all the same and it’s hard to avoid some form of packaging so labelling it all bad isn’t helpful. We want to see stricter requirements for what can be labelled compostable

I’ve decided to start a fresh experiment today with one of our bags & a PLA glove on a wormery. A wormery is a good test as it’s cold composting, it’s often hard to do hot composting on a domestic scale. Most domestic cold compost heaps will also have lots of worms

Compare this to a PLA glove. It’s labelled compostable but requires industrial facilities. We’ve had one that’s been in the wormery for months & shows no sign of breaking down (the photo was all blurry but I didn’t realise until I’d put all the worm trays back, sorry)

We use the same type of compostable material as which is certified as home compostable. Here’s one of their bags after a few weeks in the wormery. It’s already falling apart & the worms seem to like laying eggs in it as I often find babies inside

The main issue with compostable plastics is they’re not all the same & they’re usually not labelled very clearly. We’ve tried out a lot & put them through our compost & wormeries to find what works.

In each or our order we put in this information. The article does say using landfill is sometimes best which we agree on if you can't compost yourself.

In our opinion it's irresponsible for to label it all greenwash. What they mean is large corporations are greenwashing with different standards or deliberately labeling "biodegradable" and confusing it to mean the same thing and to be fair guardian do allude to that.
