Neoliberalism is an economic philosophy, not a political stance. There are neoliberals among both the GOP and Democrats.
The neoconservative hawks that have driven our foreign policy blunders in Iraq, Honduras, Syria, Libya, and many other countries are back at it again in Venezuela. Progressives need to stand up to the regime change doctrine and seek diplomacy and restraint.

Sure. How? Is there a strike organizing? Or something actionably crippling to their agenda? Problem I'm having as a progressive is the hopelessness of how and the helplessness of ineffective effort. We need something outside of or adjacent to electoral politics with teeth.

Progressives need some tools in our toolbox that are more coercive than theatrical. Protests raise awareness, sure. But these people do whatever they want no matter how many Americans know about it. Can't boycott Boeing..., can't sit-in a secure govt. installation...
