We could have spent $1.5 trillion on a well-earned raise for 47 million households by expanding the EITC but instead spent it on a tax plan that benefits corporations and the investor class. Remember that the next time Republicans claim that they stand for ordinary Americans.

Who are you trying to fool?! Yourself? Democrats don't stand for ordinary Americans either except for you, AOC, and Tulsi. That was proven by the #PayGo vote.

NEWSFLASH...Pelosi & Co ARE NOT DEMOCRATS. They are CORPORATE NEOLIBERALS. REAL Dems are 1p0% for the working class, poor, elderly and disabled.

Hopefully the silver lining of the Trump presidency is public awareness of corruption so no one will be fooled again by more tax cuts for the 1%.

In other words, paygo doesn’t prevent expanding EITC or anything else because the tax cuts are your offset - You want to pit useful new spending against tax cuts!

Yeah no shit just because they create jobs they should not be exempt from paying their fair share of taxes like the rest of us do and most of the jobs that they create are sent over to foreign countries so these “jobs” that you speak of are not here unfortunately

While yes it is lower compared to previous years however 96 million Americans are still unemployed and since the year of 2000 we have lost 5 million manufacturing jobs
