Florida purged my daughter three times before we got it to take. She just turned 18, so couldn’t vote until now and we haven’t moved, so there was no valid reason to purge her. I think they expected her to not notice or not care enough to keep registering. Be persistent, folks!!

@osucam this is exactly the shit I was talking to you about the other day -
Yeah that is bullshit, and it is happening all over the place. They know they are in the clear minority and must resort to these tactics to have any hope of retaining their power .
-
*nods* Well, we were tenacious and not got her registered, we got her mail in ballot requested and she’s already submitted her first votes
Needless to say, she was not inclined to vote Republican. -
.... Not ONLY got her registered ... I really shouldn’t try to tweet right after waking up

-
Lol, Twitter definitely could use an edit button, but I knew what you meant
. That is great she was able to get registered and get her ballots already! Never to early to get your voice heard. -
Indeed! She was eager to do it!

Don't neglect the fact that Colorado also purged tons of voters as shown by
@Greg_Palast https://www.gregpalast.com/colorado-voter-purge-list-2018/ … Another state completely ignored has been New York purging hundreds of thousands in 2016 and again in 2018 primaries. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/09/new-york-primary-voter-rolls-missing-names.html …#WeNeedElectionReform -
Shhh...you don’t want to spoil their narrative!
-
It's the narrative of both sides though. Both side's establishment is attacking democracy. This is something that's not being addressed. People are wanting to make this issue partisan and leave out one side's subversion of democracy to make it seem as if it's only them doing it.pic.twitter.com/Bwm4WKVV09

The GOP understands that its agenda is unpopular and that the only way for it to maintain dominance is by exploiting cultural/racial resentments and suppressing the vote. Shameful. Deplorable.

With stiff criminal penalties. Mass voter suppression is as serious a crime as treason and needs to be punished with the same ferocity.
-
The same with illegal registration and multiple voting. Make the punishment serious.

This is taxation without representation. The GOP literally want people to work, pay taxes and then ROB them of their voice. People need to go to prison for this.

This is cleaning dead people out of the rolls, and duplicates. shove off
#FakeNews We could solve this 'problem' with Voter ID. Because if ID is required to vote, there wont be dead people on the rolls, or duplicates, and everyone WOULD be guaranteed their 1 vote per IDThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
