4) UPDATE Dec 30: In unexpected move, #Shabaab takes responsibility for deadly bombing Sat in Mogadishu, which killed 79+, many of whom Muslims. 5) Spokesman Ali Mahmoud Rage acknowledges the civilian victims of the attack and that many of them were Muslims. He claims the attack was intended to target a Turkish-Somali convoy, which he says was using civilians as "human shields."
