I do love that. So good.
The hijab is not oppression, it’s modesty prescribed by God for protection, to say the hijab is oppression you imply that a women’s power is with her body, Islam says no and before you start talking about what countries do, I don’t care, Islam has no flaws
Yeah she ‘chose’ to wear it. Can you tell us what her father, brothers, cousins, Iman would do if she chose to remove her hijab or wear a baiting suit? Please, don’t insult women like this, this is not a choice for them to freely make.
We should be free to wear whatever we please-hijab or not. You're not a feminist if you attack us for choosing to wear hijab;you don't get to define womens' dress nor do you get to define what hijab means to those of us who wish to wear it. We know ourselves better than you do
If women are pushed and forced to cover themselves, they will obviously push back and protest it. Wearing a hijab has never been and never will be a symbol of oppression, because in Islam we don't force our way into getting what we want. (1)
The word says it all. Modest. Modest for who and for what? And everyone else not dressing modest is a slut? No thank you. This is not a tradition but an Islamic way of dressing and definitely 100 years backwards.
