The actual crisis: Cops killed more people last yr than any yr on record. We don’t get public pleas from officials to stop the killings or for cops to be “peaceful.” We get pleas for people to respond in an orderly manner to the heinous violence inflicted upon their communities.

My latest: 9 of the forest defenders charged with domestic terrorism in Atlanta are accused of no illegal actions beyond misdemeanor trespassing. Their mere association with seems to be the foundation for declaring them terrorists.
