    "A few weeks ago, the senior complex where he lives reopened its dining room. I was not terribly worried as I knew that 97% of the residents were vaccinated. What I did not know was that only 50% of staff was vaccinated" Just infuriating, these stories.

    Someone in Florida made my dear, 95-year-old, fully vaccinated father sick with COVID: someone who should have been vaccinated.

    I was today years old when I learned that Mexico has a vaccination mascot named Pandemio, the panda.

    Yes, you can get COVID-19 after being vaccinated. But it's different from getting COVID-19 as an unvaccinated person: Your body is equipped with defenses it didn't have before. A breakthrough does NOT put your body back at its immunological square one.

    Though it was expected, a setback for the DACA program — especially those hoping to apply in the future. Now focus turns to Congress and appeals.

    Just in: A federal judge in Texas has blocked the DACA program going forward — it won't affect current recipients for now (judge is putting that issue on hold, pending expected appeals), but it blocks DHS from approving new applications

    🚨I wrote about what Delta is doing to Missouri. Some hospitals have accrued as many COVID-19 patients in 5 weeks as they got in 5 months last year. Almost all those patients are unvaccinated. HCWs can't believe they're being overwhelmed *again*. 1/
