Abbreviated public subscriber counts are gradually rolling out starting next week. We heard a lot of feedback from the community following our announcement in May – we’ve updated our original post with more info here → https://yt.be/help/LF4J

If you want to abbreviated the subscriber numbers then fine. But atleast be honest about why you want to do it. If it "consistency" was the reason then just make all the numbers un-abbreviated. Everyone dislikes this change and it is un-needed.

You wouldn't make this change if it is just for consistency. I think consistency is part of the reason, But the bigger picture is cancel culture. Just be honest and say it. That is what maoes this change truly annoying! The fact you won't say the main reason why you are doing it.

There are a lot of good that came out of the live sub-count, the T-series vs pewdiepie race, it brought a lot of nations and people together. Yes there was bad with it, but more good came out of it then bad.

Milestones for people like 100k 1 mil and 10 mil. The people that havent reached these milestones would still see ir, yes but from youtube studio and not really in real time. And half of the reason that make these mile stones special is gone with the lack of fan support.

The fans cant see the times that their favorite creator would make these milestones. Imagine if pewdiepie didnt hit 100 mil before this change! Or Tseries! History that would be unseen! People like
@xisumavoid and@Technothepig, if they didnt reach 1 mil in time then that would..1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
