What’s more, studies on targeting are contradictory: Google estimated that the revenue impact of using personal data was +/- 70%, whereas Acquisti et al. found it was just 4%. Despite this, advertisers and publishers remain committed to the targeting based on personal data.

Chicago has a ton of overlapping legislative boundaries (as you can see), which can result in some fun visualizations as well. Logan Square electeds, for instance, love Johnson, as do those who rep three blocks next to Humboldt Park

With the #chimayor23 primary just six weeks away, folks are continuing to endorse candidates. Most members of Congress who rep the city have endorsed (or are / running themselves), while most aldermen remain on the sidelines.

I always find the framing of popularity polls like this funny — bc yes, McConnell has a 29% approval rating in KY vs. Barrasso’s 60% in WY. But adjust for RV & that’s 1.04m pro-McConnellites vs. 199k pro-Barrassonites! So who’s /really/ more ‘popular’?

By the late 2010's and early in this decade, more and more representatives were bringing up AI in discussions with witnesses and on the floor of the General Assembly -- and discussions of AI began to center more around business applications.
