NYC spends more on police than Ukraine used to spend on their entire military. Homeless shelters and mental health clinics at the end of the subway line would do wonders for physically getting folks to the places that can help.

So what's the answer then? You don't support more police, but want a safer transit system... That's an oxymoron. Took you guys months to admit we even had a safety problem in the transit system. Disturbing.
