    I say this now every time appears in news feeds... imagine an education service without inspection. What, like Finland?

    More than 50% of Outstanding schools were last inspected over 5 years ago. Nearly 1/3 haven't been inspected since 2010. Almost 10% were last inspected more than a decade ago.

    You’ve probably gathered I’ve got a book out and am proud of it. Thank you again to everyone who’s supported it - it’s massively helpful and I appreciate it hugely.

    and look with fresh eyes.. especially in a light project - well done to learning the skills of dissection in KS2

    Year 5 and 6 have had a gooey time this term dissecting eyeballs as part of their light topic: lots of surprise that an eyeball is filled with clear jelly, not red or black!

    of course what a sensational idea.. so I wonder if or fancy helping kids in write their own science book?

    It's been a busy day with the science committee reflecting on yesterday's children's conference and thinking ahead to next term. Here's an idea I haven't come across before and I love it 👇 - any writers / publishers fancy helping some children write a science book?!

    go worms! here's a great opportunity for a project for schools.. do a worm census.. calculate how many worms are on the school field..?
