Agreed, Rick. I have spoken with several caucus and cabinet colleagues who reached out direct. Jim was special to me since he was a constant source of strength and support for me when I battled depression. We sat together almost everyday for four years.

Disagree. A public statement is always made and no details are required. Don’t cover up for Doug Ford’s boorishness, you bring yourself down. Offering good wishes to one of his members is the right thing to do.
