I mean within reason of course. You can't ship a game with game breaking bugs. But if developers just immediately squashed all "bugs" instead if looking deeper into happy accidents, then we wouldn't have combos in fighting games, or videogames in general.

If you're in a "creative industry" a sign of a good workplace is, when someone does something that makes everyone laugh their ass off, that gets into the game. A sign of a bad workplace is when everyone has a good laugh then the leads go "HAHA--but seriously, we can't do that."

I love it when you can tell that the artist was probably laughing their ass off as they were drawing the piece and then everyone else laughed their ass off when they showed it off for approval at work.
