I am on the basic income pilot and it has improved my life. I know of no one in thunder bay that signed off of it as Ford says. We need to get all the ones on it together and show up at parliament or sign that petition.

The term "illegal border crossers" was repeated in the Ontario legislature today. Reminder that the term is 1) pejorative, 2) inaccurate, 3) misleading. "Irregular" is the alternative used by gov't and Immigration and Refugee Board, whereas the RCMP prefers "interceptions"

I wrote this last year. Only thing I'd change is hope media regularly alert/remind people when politicians choose a Kouvalis, or someone who made a living founding the Rebel, because in doing so the candidate is making is a values choice.

This Kouvalis? The one that gloated about making up fake news? I won't trust a thing from Tory's campaign after that.

The Globe and Mail this week laid out all the information about the two main streams under Canadian immigration laws. Made it very clear that there is no such thing as "illegal" asylum seekers, just "irregular" asylum seekers, who are not breaking the law however they come.

I walked out of the end of that briefing because I am totally saddened by what just happened. Sarah Sanders was repeatedly given a chance to say the press is not the enemy and she wouldn't do it. Shameful.
