Democrats never sided with Soviet Russia, you just made that up. The Democrats during the Civil War Era were Conservatives, the Republicans were formed to be Liberal Party, that changed under FDR, then Kennedy & Johnson. What you mean is Conservatives fought for slavery etc...

Abraham Lincoln was a Republican and ran on ending slavery. He won the election and civil war.

Yes, the Republicans were the Liberal party back then. The Democrats were the Conservatives back then. The Republican party was founded by members of the Liberal Whig party who felt the Whigs weren't Liberal enough. The Conservatives were The Democrats until the mid 1900's.

Abe Lincoln was a conservative and constitutionalist that said the constitution protects blacks. Then the democrats seceded. Then democrats (KKK) wanted segregation. It was republicans that ended slavery, ended segregation, and hopefully end socialism:Marxism for good.

You are 100% wrong. You know nothing about Lincoln or the two parties (which were 3 back then). Lincoln never said that the Constitution protected blacks & it took two amendments to Constitution to guarantee their freedom after his death. All of your information is wrong.

13th Amendment. Lincoln used this to free the slaves. All men are created equal. He emphasized constitution should reflect all men regardless of color.

It took 3 Amendments to grant rights to black people. They are collectively known as the Civil War Amendments. Two of three passed well after Lincoln's death in 1865. The 14th (1868), and the 15th (1870). Have you figured out you're talking to someone who studied this?

Lincoln didn't run on ending slavery. If you look up the 1860 Republican Party Platform in terms of Slavery, The Republican Party platform promised not to interfere with slavery in the states, but opposed the further extension of slavery into the territories.

Good job googling, now look up at the what he ran on in 1860. Look at what said about Slavery during the 1860 Presidential Campaign. Look at the party platform from 1860. This is ridiculous. He did not RUN for President saying he would end slavery.
