Max Bruch struggled w doubt, rewriting his famous Violin Concerto #1 “at least half a dozen times” after soliciting advice from several violinists inc. virtuoso Joseph Joachim (the dedicatee) & Ferdinand David, who had advised Mendelssohn on his concerto.

Hi - just finished Stories of the Law ... - an interesting read after doing jury service for the first time this year. Is legislation.gov.uk still as out of date as you describe? It doesn't give that impression - there is stuff published today on there.
