Interesting how? It was basically her saying the left would not have complained if it the profile was of an ISIS terrorist. It's simplistic and wrong. She calls opposition to all things trumpian the "left’s march towards unreason, a bitter national tragedy," Unreasonable?

My problem with your article Is the timing. It strikes me as the kind of story I would want to read after we have exhausted all of the stories regarding the panoply of existential issues facing us. Is there a normalization desk at the times?

Agree. The "problem" with this story is that it was nuanced. We are not living in a nuance-y era. Right OR left. http://www.tabletmag.com/scroll/250226/was-the-new-york-times-too-sympathetic-to-the-nazi-it-profiled-this-weekend …

I don’t think this writer read the article. By your own admission, there was absolutely nothing in it about “how and why” he became a Nazi.
