It’s hard for me to imagine that you are a professional writer for the New York Times who doesn’t know what the word “normalize” means, which makes it similarly hard to read this tweet in good faith
Perhaps spend some time on people that deserve more sympathy? Spend time showing the consequences of what these people vote for, maybe? We have more thinkpieces normalizing white supremecists than migrant families ripper apart or victims of hurricane Maria.
