I totally agree with you on this!!!! And whenever I visit my family in Germany, I always tell my dad before we leave, "whatever you do, don't mention the war!" And it gets us laughing every time!

I was literally just talking to a colleague 2 days ago about how hilarious Fawlty Towers was and how little millennials know of it.

On a side note, John Cleese's father's last name was actually Cheese, but he changed it. So John Cleese would've actually been named John Cheese...anyway, resume the Fawlty towers discussion...brilliant show imho.
