Sarah, Pause for a moment. Irrespective of Richards actions, what is the intent here? Replace Richards name with your own, or one of children's. How would feel as the receiver and observer of such emotional vitriolic language? What will you do when Twitter comes for you?
The problem with your framing is that you’re describing this reaction like some sort of random event. It’s not; it’s the result of decades of misconduct.

Rich, I do not feel it is a random event, and change I agree should be requested. My concern is with the language used. It I feel it detracts from the argument for change.
