I’m going to sound stupid here and ask what are YouTube channel memberships? 
Are you familiar with Patreon? It’s like that, but on YouTube. It allows people to become paid “members” to support your channel. You can give them member perks, member live streams, special emojis, or content that only they can see.
Aha, that’s super cool! I had no idea something like that had rolled out. I imagine you need a certain established base of active subscribers for it to make sense.
