Low-tech stalking is still stalking. Data does not have to be confidential for aggregating data about someone without their knowledge or consent to be creepy.

It's not even the search or aggregation. It's the presentation of the information to a fucking stranger on a dating app in a romantic context. If you still don't understand, I'm not sure what else I can do to explain why this individual made his Tinder connection feel unsafe.

Yes, but I consider just the bulk search & aggregation creepy too, and a big step towards stalking if not already stalking.

I agree it is creepy. But stalking is a legal charge, creepy is not. Also, in this specific case I just found out he was also stalking

FWIW stalking laws haven't caught up with technology, OSINT, and corporate data abuse. At all. It's one of the reasons I work with
@WithoutConsent where we're fighting to change these things. -
