I'm trying to clarify for myself what domainfronting means. Are there legit attack scenarios that can be prevented by not allowing domainfronting? Is this related to the recent acme-sni issue?

from what I took away from the debate: no. It was more a "it's not entirely clear how to do it properly, it's a hard problem, we want to more forward with 1.3 for all the other good things it brings, let's do that later"
