i've gotten a bunch of DMs asking me to contact patreon over what's happening with naomi. this isn't something i ever do unless the person directly involved asks me to.

patreon made a statement about all of this on their twitter - which i kind of found surprising, given the paranoia of most companies when it comes to publicly commenting on cases involving abuse.

i don't know the details of anything, so i have no opinion other than this: i don't support doxing on any platform for any reason. but even if this is a thing that did happen, it doesn't erase what vice did.

Publicly naming(& more) your abuser is not doxing. Good CoCs recognize this and make an explicit exception to rules about doxing & releasing private communications.

I don't see them; maybe they deleted them? But in any case I don't see anything wrong with what she supposedly did. Outing your abuser is always ok.

Ah, in case anyone else is reading & wondering they seem to be on the support account not the main.
