Worst part about GNU software that's switched from C to C++: forgetting I need CXXFLAGS="-O2 -g0" and not just CFLAGS="-O2 -g0".

What significant GNU software has switched from C to C++ lately? gcc has done it a long time ago, what are the others?

GDB is the one I'm hacking on right now. Ended up with a 70MB binary that should have been 7MB and who knows how much .o crap in the build tree. :-)

Oh. I thought gdb had switched to C++ at the same time as gcc. Glad to learn they didn't, sad to learn they finally caught the disease.

Oh, it was a long time ago, around the same time I think. I didn't mean to imply it's a new change. Just something I forget every time...
