Money is not speech. Restricting ability to wield power with money is not authoritarianism.

This is very dumb, as evidenced by the fact transferring money is literally just data - i.e., a speech act.

Some people who have a vested interest in being able to wield power without regulation want to make that the case. That's what internet toy money is all about & why it should be destroyed.

Thankfully it can be destroyed in a manner compatible with your flavor of anarchism - just don't back ownership of it with might of state. All your coins got stolen? Tough luck. Would crash on its own without ability to prosecute theft & fraud.

Or, if you prefer that states do investigate & prosecute (or let you sue over) theft of coins, then you have to acknowledge that transfer is not "just data". It's making a legally binding transfer of ownership that carries with it the force of the state.
