I don't claim "ABP won't stop ads that have bribed it". I claim ABP does not protect users by default, and intentionally misleads users to preserve their stream of funding.

Also there's a clear _incentive_ not to improve blocking features that would affect the advertisers who fund them. I don't claim they act on that incentive (no idea if they do) but it's there.

Just the opposite - they have incentive to distinguish clearly between "acceptable" and "unacceptable" adds, in order to show the former when that option is not checked.

It gives the user options. Just like the Brave browser. The important thing is that it can do what the user needs, and do it well.
