1. You still have to go in prefs. 2. It's opt-out not opt-in. 3. "Non-intrustive" is totally misleading, it's purely about visual presentation not intrusiveness (tracking & malware delivery vectors).

It can do what you need - i.e., block all ads. The rest is trivial and non-essential. If you're not willing to learn the tool you use, you do not deserve to use it.

You can shoot yourself in the foot with just about every sophisticated tool. Blaming the tool for your ignorance is stupid. Especially when you're clearly told what the options are and when what you want to do is just a checkbox away.
