ABP seems like a bad recommendation since they're involved in pay-to-unblock. Recommend UBO only.

Nothing against UBO, it's equally good and I use it on one of my machines. It's just that the claim that ABP won't stop ads that have bribed it is bullshit. It's one of the two best ad blockers out there.

I don't claim "ABP won't stop ads that have bribed it". I claim ABP does not protect users by default, and intentionally misleads users to preserve their stream of funding.

Also there's a clear _incentive_ not to improve blocking features that would affect the advertisers who fund them. I don't claim they act on that incentive (no idea if they do) but it's there.

Just the opposite - they have incentive to distinguish clearly between "acceptable" and "unacceptable" adds, in order to show the former when that option is not checked.
