Sure, and these could be much more readily addressed if the sites running the ads had the data and analytics about what was being run.
That's only helpful for complaining after your readers already got hit by malware. You want to prevent it from ever happening.
Take away all the advertiser's metrics, give them nothing but the publication's reputation to base their decisions for spending.
