Shower thoughts: @Twitter should tag tweets with compression-tolerant signature barcodes so unsourced screenshots can be trivially verified.
I also don't see any way you could do it that wouldn't be subject to homoglyph-type forgeries.

I mean, if they're hashing username with content/timestamp, then it's only as vulnerable as the hash, right? If it's hard to craft collisions, it's hard to craft homoglyph attacks, right?
