Browsers: deprecate non-same-origin scripts and make a plan for transitioning to removal of support for them.
Important to note that in this case, the calling code was *on* Equifax's server. Literally, a web service expired in 2014.
But it was loading some resource (likely script) from the abandoned domain. This is what I'm saying should be disallowed.

There's utterly no reason to be using scripts, much less non-same-origin, for fonts. It's cargo cult nonsense.
I'm aware there are pricing/enforcement models built on NSO JS. This is harmful to users & designers. Nuke it.
Pay your fees, register that you're using the font, and serve it from your own site. © holders need to accept that this is valid usage.
