FreeBSD Capsicum treats libc as the enemy, immutable, devising elaborate workarounds. OpenBSD studied, adapted, designed pledge accordingly.

It comes up quite often on the capsicum mailing lists as well, devising new "casper services" when a new tricky libc codepath is found..
