If you're a conservative in tech and don't want to be ostracized, you need to unequivocally condemn these asshats not sympathize w/them.
Citation needed. For instances of someone conservative *without* connections to/views in line with those sorts of hate movements.

Humans can reasonably disagree on economic systems, where/how public funds should be spent, how to regulate infrastructure, ...

But some things are not opinions you can reasonably disagree on. They're matters of hate.

Things like whether a particular race or gender is less capable or less worthy or whether a trans person is the gender they say they are.

I agree, but this kind of thinking is exactly what conservative isn't, so you won't find many conservative in tech who think the same.

If you're wrong on this, you DESERVE to be ostracized in workplace/community. You are a threat to others.

The very fact that this is seen as political rather than basic workplace norms is a symptom of how messed up everything is.

Most of the defenses I've seen is either claim the data was right or that it was a political lynching while avoiding the workplace topic.

For all the new ordinary-folk MAGAs, 45 didn't make them racist/misogynist/etc. Rather he emboldened them to show their true colors.

Of course, I just meant they supported Trump no matter how hostile they were towards him as a candidate during the GOP primary.
