People with “pre-existing conditions” aren’t some kind of greedy moochers. They just got sick, exactly the way you might, someday.

We were denied insurance repeatedly when we started Matasano despite no diagnosed medical conditions, because of old dr. visits.

What a nightmare. Also discourages people anticipating e.g., moving jobs from seeking care, lest they get a bad diagnosis on record.
