current status: looking at a t-shirt labelled as "organic". as opposed to what, woven asbestos?
Likely the intended meaning is organically grown cotton, but I'm not sure if the USDA/NOP has authority over marketing of non-food produce.

I know "organic" in cosmetics, hair & body wash products, etc. is utter BS and completely unregulated.
