User agent is logged on a lot of web servers, I don't think cookies normally go into log files, just databases

Right. Get them to delete their whole database of tracking data.

My motive here isn't getting rid of logs to cover an attack, just getting rid of maliciously-collected data.

But the DB may be encrypted, not storing on disk, or not plain text on disk
