Browser vendors need a policy that any & all TLS MITM is malware and unsupported usage & to work to actively break it.
Sorry, but no. That attitude will not get us anywhere. EDUs and ENTs need this. And a browser needs to work for them. It's hard.

If it's restricted to your domain, not able to sign for any domain, you shouldn't need to.
