Anyone had success with a setup like this? Need to host servers on crappy nat'd inet via eth bridge to a vps.https://la11111.wordpress.com/2012/09/24/layer-2-vpns-using-ssh/ …

Hmm, nope, it's not using bridges just ip tunnel. Think I really need bridge to be able to give the servers behind the gw their real ips.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

or use sshuttle https://github.com/apenwarr/sshuttle …
-
I don't see how cjdns is related at all; not sure about that sshtunnel because it's short on info about what it actually is.
-
couldn't you use cjdns to peer your devices to access the vps securely and work on the go like in the scenario you linked?
-
I think you missed the "host servers" part. Need server behind the gw setup to have its real actual public-facing ip.
-
ah woops, my brain skipped over that bit

-
No problem. Replying to your tweet actually made me realize I could do it without bridging, just routing w/ explicit routes.
-
When I get some extra time I'll try the routed version too and compare them and hopefully blog about both on
