Not comparing with other GCs. Rather found it telling that "only" 100us stall is considered impressive for GC.

In my mental model, 100us is ~ fork+exec time.

Also I assume 100us is on high-end x86 and ARM, and might be tens or hundreds of ms on lower-end...

"lower-end" = 100x-1000x slowdown? Not our #1 target. Think servers, containers, txns, fear of Morris worm.
