It makes sense to kill keys when switching users. It's too aggressive to break notifications / push messaging across the board.

It's too aggressive even for CopperheadOS, at least as a default. It could be offered as an option though. No way as default.

It would be quite difficult to implement purging keys when switching users. Trivial to add option of full at rest after that.

Note though: using a long encryption passphrase paired with the fingerprint scanner as a convenient unlock method won't work.

Unless it learns to purge the keys only after the timer on fingerprint unlock being allowed expires. That could work well.

Fingerprint working is important since we want to add 2-factor to it (fingerprint + PIN) to make proper long passphrases usable.
