Unbelievable greed! Supplier sold non-expert client APs w/1Gbps BW/500+ users. Client desn't have 20+ users at a time & slow Internetpic.twitter.com/EHfkbK3cly

price is right for those APs, but those APs are in excess for customer's needs
-
I mean questioning the basic premise that an AP for normal internet access could cost $1000.
-
Thinking/asking: "Home AP/routers are $50 or so. What does this do that makes it worth $950 more?"
-
And I would argue the price isn't right for those APs. AFAIK nothing they can do that a $50 TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND with OpenWRT can't.
-
They're Ruckus Wireless ac, mimo 3x3:3, dual band, beamforming... all bells and whistles... and yes, about 995 is listed price

I once worked with a business that was paying over $2500 total to lease a $150 credit card terminal.
